EXHIBITION FLORIAN BACHMEIER - WORLD ABOUT | WITHIN
Date: Sunday 04. January 2026
City: Tannerhof
FLORIAN BACHMEIER - WORLD ABOUT | WITHIN
Photography is always created in an intermediate space: between what exists in front of the camera and what we recognize in it. It is in this narrow gap - in the breach between the outside world and the inner world - that the actual work of the image begins. This is where perception shifts, where meaning emerges, where poetry grows.
Florian Bachmeier's photographic works operate precisely in this field of tension. His pictures observe and yet at the same time open up a second level that is only formed in the viewer's gaze. The documented reality - fragile landscapes, people in transition, places on the margins - remain present, but are complemented by an inner echo triggered by the images.
The exhibition invites us to look at these two levels together: the world that surrounds us and the world that is created within us. Bachmeier's photographs not only show how it is; they create space for what we can see in it. In this field of tension, a silent dialog opens up about perception, reality and the moments that take place between the two.Florian Bachmeier, winner of the World Press Photo Contest 2025, born in Tegernsee, lives and works in Munich and Madrid.
EXHIBITION UNTIL JULY 4, 2026 // Daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. // Free admission

Daniel He / May living splendid like summer flowers and death tranquil like autumn leaves
Date: Thursday 16. April 2026
City: Hall in the bathhouse
Admission: 8:00 PM / Start: 8:30 PM
Price: 22 € Members: Kultursprung e.V. 18 €
If the world of music were a landscape, Daniel He would have made himself at home somewhere on a hill between Elliott Smith, Nick Drake and Joni Mitchell. The 24-year-old Chinese singer/songwriter - originally from Wuhan - presents us with a multi-layered view of a life between East and West. On a visit to China, Daniel realizes how everything has changed there. In Germany, life is freer for him, but not necessarily easier. In his music, these contradictions are allowed to coexist.
Daniel's bittersweet indie folk is unique: introspective, poetic. He reflects the distance to his own origins and at the same time the survival of rituals, language and emotional traces. For Daniel He, music is a means of making the intangible tangible. As he puts it: "I write to translate me to myself." Daniel He sees himself as an observer and descriptor of life and takes a lot of time to write lyrics.

EXHIBITION STEFAN SPEIDEL - JUST WALKING
Date: Thursday 09. July 2026
City: Gallery in the stairwell
A 2,000 km journey on foot through Japan: without a fixed schedule, step by step.
The photographer Stefan Speidel, who has been living in Japan for more than 30 years, embarked on a long, reflective journey through his adopted homeland. From Tokyo, Speidel walked west to Kyoto and Osaka, then left the main island of Honshu and went to Kyushu. From Beppu, he returned along the San'in coast to Kyoto to return to Tokyo via the old Nakasendo route.Speidel documented his journey in - sometimes lyrical, sometimes symbolic - photographs and a detailed written report in which he collected his thoughts and encounters along the way. In black and white
In black and white, the pictures often resemble ink drawings. The longer he walked, the more his perception changed. Time began to flow differently, his gaze became more attentive.
His photographic works revolve around time, perception and being consciously on the move.
"When I continue my hike, I am aware that I am moving differently than when I started this journey. I notice the wonderful scent of the forest, the raindrops on my face and my feet hitting the ground with every step. I enjoy every day, but the days start to blend together and it's not easy for me to remember exactly whether I was in a particular place two or three days ago."
The pictures tell of landscapes, transitions - and of the experience that you can still travel too fast even on foot.
OPENING ON JULY 9, 2026 // 4 - !8 PM with guided tour through the exhibition with Stefan Speidel and finger food & drinks from the Tannerhof kitchen
EXHIBITION UNTIL 29 NOVEMBER 2026 // Daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. // Admission free

Paul Brändle and Andreas Dombert / Night Of Jazz Guitars
Date: Thursday 08. October 2026
City: Hall in the bathhouse
Admission: 8:00 PM / Start: 8:30 PM
Price: 22 € Members: Kultursprung e.V. 18 €
Paul Brändle (Munich) and Andreas Dombert (Regensburg) are two internationally renowned jazz guitarists whose collaboration has been a long time coming. Each of them initially developed their own distinctive sound and musical identity independently of one another. They now bring this individual maturity to their newly formed guitar duo with great passion. Their music strikes a masterful balance between lyrical beauty and a willingness to take risks, paying homage to tradition while offering a contemporary view of modernity. These two musicians have found each other, understand each other blindly, and create a fascinating musical symbiosis – a magical "night of jazz guitars." A real treat – not only for guitar fans.
PAUL BRÄNDLE (*1992) is one of the most renowned jazz guitarists of the younger generation. In the last two years alone, he has given over 300 performances in more than 15 countries worldwide. His most significant projects include collaborations with Mongolian singer ENJI (Erkhem), the band FAZER (Munich), and American drummer RICK HOLLANDER. Over a dozen recordings document his outstanding abilities as a bandleader, composer, and sideman. Since 2018, Brändle has also been a lecturer in popular music at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich.
ANDREAS DOMBERT (*1979) has been one of Germany’s most innovative and exciting guitarists for over two decades. His musical spectrum ranges from minimal music for solo guitar to successful pop projects and experimental music in a wide variety of forms. Despite this astonishing diversity, his roots remain anchored in traditional jazz. With the formation NIGHT OF JAZZ GUITARS, which he founded, he has performed at numerous renowned international festivals, often accompanied by world stars such as LARRY CORYELL (USA), PHILIP CATHERINE (BEL), and AIRTO MOREIRA (BRA). In 2017, Dombert was nominated for an ECHO Jazz award in the "National Guitar" category. This was followed in 2024 by a nomination in the "Ensemble of the Year" category (German Jazz Award).
PRESS REVIEWS
A chapter unto itself: Paul Brändle and Andreas Dombert evoke the legacy of Nieberle and Kagerer
"Jazz guitar at Birdland. That is truly a chapter unto itself. Many greats such as John Scofield, Bireli Lagrene, Larry Coryell, John Abercrombie, Ralph Towner, and Jim Hall have performed there, but also regularly, always just before Christmas, the legendary duo Helmut Nieberle and Helmut Kagerer. (...) The Brändle/Dombert duo has not been around for very long, but is already working very well together. Melody and accompaniment passages constantly switch back and forth, the areas of responsibility shift permanently, and each takes on the leading role or acts as accompanist. This only works so perfectly because both listen and respond to each other, their playing resulting in a large, harmonious sound structure, the individually spun melodic and rhythmic threads woven into a filigree Gesamtkunstwerk." Karl Leitner, DonaukurierThe duo Paul Brändle and Andreas Dombert treat us to an enchanting evening of jazz at Birdland

"Minimal music for guitar(s) (...) is an apt title for this type of very refined, often very quiet and (seemingly) very simple jazz art. But the way these two highly committed, focused and very freely improvising guitars present their pieces with youthful risk-taking makes minimal music a maximum pleasure. (...) In truth, Dombert and Brändle have something exciting, even sensational, to offer. Take “A Day in the Life of a Fool,” better known under the label “Black Orpheus.” From the short, song-like theme that everyone knows, the two develop an increasingly sophisticated piece, floating away into crazy chords, driven forward by spontaneous inspiration." SHAKTI AND MATZE / SONGS FROM THE DEEPEST COUNTRYSIDE
Date: Thursday 29. October 2026
City: Hall in the bathhouse
Admission: 8:00 PM / Start: 8:30 PM
Price: 22 € Members: Kultursprung e.V. 18 €
Cabaret pop from the deepest countryside
You lose most of your body heat through your head-you could just put on a hat or go to a Shakti and Matze concert. They spread good cheer, help you escape everyday life, and their songs and stories are real sources of warmth. Over hundreds of concert evenings throughout Germany, they have distracted their audiences and won many fans.
Shakti and Matze sing about a gold record, Beatles messages, a magic bus, the Captain Picard frog, their travels through the night, seven-zone ton bag spring mattresses, and they have a farewell song for people who still say "Tschüssikowski".
You're sure to find yourself in their songs and stories.
In addition to guitars and vocals, you can hear an autoharp, a stylophone, wah-wah tubes, jaw harps, a keyboard glockenspiel, kazoos, percussion, and whatever else fits in their suitcase.
They were on the song charts for several months, won the Belziger Bachstelze cabaret award, are nominated for the Franconian Cabaret Award 2026 and the Emmendinger Cabaret Award, and one of their numerous albums has just been awarded "Best Chanson Album" at the 43rd Rock & Pop Awards 2025.The Rheinpfalz writes: "Between music cabaret and the singer-songwriter genre, the finest cabaret pop flourishes in the province, the very latest German wave spilling into our ears without electronics, highly amusing..."
