During the medical consultation, your diet will be medically assessed. The Schlanke Tanne (literally “slim fir”) is the name of the low-carb diet at the Tannerhof. It was developed as an enjoyable, practical reset – not as a diet in the restrictive sense. Plenty of vegetables and salads, moderate fruit and always a portion of high-quality protein; less bread and heavy side dishes. The aim is more stable energy, fewer cravings and better satiety. The Schlanke Tanne is the culinary heart of the Nutrition programme and is continued by many guests at home after their stay (“Schlanke Tanne at home”).
How long does the Nutrition programme last?
The Nutrition programme is offered in two variants: the 5-Day Basic programme (five days) and the 8-Day Advanced programme (eight days). In five days, a real change becomes possible: new eating rhythm, new satiety, new routines. Eight days add depth: more time for personal training, treatments and the transfer into everyday life.
How much does the Nutrition programme cost?
The 5-Day Basic Nutrition programme starts at 750 euros and the 8-Day Advanced programme at 960 euros (each is the programme price, incl. statutory VAT). Included in the price are the medical low-carb consultation, bioimpedance analysis, Kneipp alternating showers, detox bath, aroma wrap, full-body or relaxation massage, honey massage, foot reflexology and personal training for muscle building. The 8-Day Advanced programme includes additional treatments. Accommodation is charged separately.
Which treatments are included in the Nutrition programme?
The programme combines medical nutritional counselling with regenerative treatments: medical low-carb consultation to individually classify your diet, bioimpedance analysis at the beginning and end to evaluate body composition, Kneipp alternating showers, detox bath, aroma wrap, a full-body or relaxation massage, honey massage, foot reflexology and personal training for muscle building. The 8-Day Advanced programme includes additional treatments such as further Kneipp applications, aroma wraps and personal training sessions.
What is low-carb – and how does it differ from a diet?
Low-carb means a way of eating with a reduced share of carbohydrates – less bread, pasta, rice and sugar – while at the same time more vegetables, good protein and healthy fats. Unlike short-term diets, low-carb is designed as a lasting way of eating: no counting, no prohibitions, no yo-yo effect – but a stable rhythm with fewer blood sugar peaks, fewer cravings and more satiety. In the Nutrition programme, the transition is medically supervised and individually tailored to you.
Who is the Nutrition programme suitable for?

It also works as a gentler entry point for those who are not (yet) ready to fast. Or as a follow-up to a fasting programme such as Body Detox or Longevity, to stabilise the results in everyday life. For pre-existing conditions, medication or specific dietary requirements, we adjust the low-carb approach individually during the medical consultation.
What is the difference between Nutrition and Body Detox?
Both programmes affect metabolism and weight – but in different ways. Body Detox is a fasting programme: no solid food, a structured fasting rhythm, intensive relief over eight to ten days. Nutrition is the counterpart with solid food: low-carb nutrition over five to eight days, focused on new eating habits, muscle building and practical routines for everyday life. Many guests combine both: Body Detox as a reset, followed immediately or later by Nutrition as a sustainable dietary change.
Do you lose weight with the Nutrition programme?
Weight reduction is common with a low-carb diet, but it is not the main focus at the Tannerhof. The bioimpedance analysis at the beginning and end shows exactly what any changes consist of – water, muscle or body fat. What matters: sustainable weight reduction only succeeds with a lasting dietary change, not with short-term diets. That is why we deliberately invest in new habits and muscle building in personal training – because muscles are fat burners and stabilise the metabolism in the long term.
What does a typical day in the Nutrition programme look like?
The rhythm is deliberately structured: a Kneipp or movement session in the morning, the medical low-carb consultation, bioimpedance analysis, personal training or a massage during the day, as well as movement in nature around Bayrischzell. The low-carb cuisine structures the day – hand-cooked, certified organic, regional and seasonal. In the evening, rest takes centre stage, complemented by a treatment such as an aroma wrap or honey massage – in the panorama relaxation room of the Bade Harpfe, in the sauna or on a walk.
Can I continue the Schlanke Tanne at home after the programme?
Yes – this is exactly what the Nutrition programme is designed for. In the final consultation and medical advice, you receive clear, actionable guidelines for the time afterwards: eating rhythm, protein requirements, simple everyday recipes, how to handle social situations (restaurants, invitations). Many guests continue the “Schlanke Tanne” at home – either strictly or as a baseline with conscious exceptions. A follow-up individual nutritional consultation at the Tannerhof is possible if you need fine-tuning.
