By car

From Munich: Motorway A8 München–Salzburg, exit Weyarn, carry on via Miesbach and Schliersee to Bayrischzell, stay on bypass heading for the Tatzelwurm/Sudelfeld. After a long left turn take the top entrance road on the right for the Tannerhof (follow signs).

From Innsbruck: Motorway Innsbruck–Kiefersfelden–München, exit Kufstein Süd, follow signs for Thiersee/Bayrischzell (avoid city centre). Reaching Bayrischzell turn right for Tatzelwurm/Sudelfeld. After a long left turn take the top entrance road on the right for the Tannerhof (follow signs).

By plane

Munich Airport.
[1] Rental car: Motorway A9 to Munich, then follow signs A8 to Salzburg. See above for further directions.

[2] Public transport: A very convenient choice is the Lufthansa Airport Bus to Munich main station. Alternatively by rail with S-Bahn S8 to Munich-Donnersberger Brücke. Opposite on the same platform hop on the local train BRB (Bayerische Regionalbahn) to Bayrischzell. Make sure to enter the car signing Bayrischzell (usually the frontmost car) - only this goes to Bayrischzell after the train splits for 3 different destinations in Holzkirchen (see information on platform). Please inform us on your arrival time, we will be happy to meet you at the station.

By train

Munich Main Station, platform 34 or 35. Train BRB Bayrische Regionalbahn to Bayrischzell (final destination). Make sure to enter the car signing Bayrischzell (usually the frontmost car) - only this goes to Bayrischzell after the train splits for 3 different destinations in Holzkirchen (see information on platform). Please inform us on your arrival time, we will be happy to meet you at the station.
