Lufthütte [Luft=air|airy | Hütte=cabin]

Constructed 1905, from pure & simple to gracious & modest

15 – 22 m² | hillside

These cabins are an essential part of the Tannerhof heritage, built by founder Christian von Mengershausen. They casually lie along the hillside above the main buildings and make for very unique little retreats. They have nothing to do with the modish and ostentatious alpine chalets.

The Auerhahnhütte cabin provides two neighbouring rooms, each with an own entrance, queen size bed and small wood burner.
The Untere Rehhütte. A cabin for 2 max. Queen size bed, the most adorable terrace.
The Rehhütte window...
View into the Rehhütte
The Taubenhütte might be the place to write a book. Chill out the writers cramp on the sun lounger under the apple tree. It's a sweet life.
In the Taubenhütte with the gorgeous alcove bed and wood burner. Idyllic secludedness.
The Taubenhütte bathroom with beautiful antique tiling.
The Weiße Rehbockhütte. Two separate rooms. Two single beds each. Important to know. And a shared entrance.
