By Car
From Munich/Salzburg: Take the A8 motorway (Munich–Salzburg), exit at Weyarn, then continue via Miesbach and Schliersee to Bayrischzell. Stay on the bypass towards Tatzelwurm; after a long left-hand bend, follow the signs to “Tannerhof”.
From Innsbruck: Take the Innsbruck–Kiefersfelden–Munich motorway, exit at Kufstein Süd, head towards Thiersee (do not enter Kufstein town centre), continue via Thiersee and Landl to Bayrischzell. Turn right onto the B307 towards Tatzelwurm; after a long left-hand bend, follow the signs to Tannerhof.
By Plane
Munich Airport: take the S-Bahn (S8) to Donnersberger Brücke station, then catch the BRB (Bavarian Regional Railway) to Bayrischzell from the platform opposite. Please note the carriage layout. Alternatively, take a rental car via the A9 (Nuremberg–Munich), continue on the A99 toward Salzburg and then on the A8 toward Salzburg to the Weyarn exit — see “By Car” above.
By Train
From Munich Hauptbahnhof, change to the Bavarian Regional Railway (BRB) heading to Bayrischzell (terminus). Departures are usually from platform 34/35 — please note the carriage layout, as only part of the train continues to Bayrischzell while the rest splits off en route towards Tegernsee.
