Tannerhof is one of the most unusual and beautiful hotels in the Bavarian mountains. Like a small village, it sits on a sunny west-facing slope above Bayrischzell. It is a small gem where the team lives out an uncommon combination: high-quality, relaxed hospitality, organic gastronomy and a health resort, alongside its own small farm.

Opposites live side by side here: loud and quiet, young and old, high-proof spirits and herbal tea. We prefer variety to a single mould — with our guests and inside the team.
In tune with nature
Organic since 2007, Slow Food by conviction, our own small farm. We work regionally and sustainably because it belongs to the house, not because it sounds good.
Family, not corporate
Fourth generation, around 80 people, short paths. Whoever decides things here knows your name and works in the house themselves.

We are common-good certified. In practice: our own pay scale clearly above DEHOGA, all permitted bonuses paid in full and fair time tracking for everyone.
