Tannerhof is one of the most unusual and beautiful hotels in the Bavarian mountains. Like a small village, it sits on a sunny west-facing slope above Bayrischzell. It is a small gem where the team lives out an uncommon combination: high-quality, relaxed hospitality, organic gastronomy and a health resort, alongside its own small farm.

Organic since 2007, Slow Food by conviction, and our own small farm. We work regionally and sustainably because it’s part of who we are, not just because it sounds good.
Family instead of corporation
Fourth generation, about 80 people, short lines of communication. The people making decisions here know your name and work on-site themselves.

We are certified for the common good. In concrete terms: our own pay scale well above DEHOGA, all applicable surcharges paid in full, and fair time tracking for everyone.

Our own Tannerhof pay scale is significantly higher than the current DEHOGA industry standard.
Full surcharges
We pay the maximum possible surcharges for Sundays, public holidays, and night shifts.
No seasonal contracts
Year-round employment instead of six-month contracts.
Christmas off
Rare in the hotel industry, but standard for us: at least one week of company holidays over the festive season.
Fair time tracking
Time tracking for everyone, no undocumented overtime.
