At Tannerhof, we translate that into a clearly guided programme: Tannerhof low-carb cuisine – full of flavour, made by hand, medically supervised. Less bread and heavy sides. In their place: plenty of fresh vegetables, crisp salads, moderate fruit – and a portion of good-quality protein at every meal.

Not as a list of bans. As a reset. And as the start of a way of eating you can actually live with at home.

The Nutrition programme is for people who want to eat better: more structured, lighter, steadier. No counting. No dogma. Just a plan that takes muscle building into account and treats recovery seriously. (One of the underrated factors.)

Medical Low-Carb Consultation

In the medical consultation, your nutrition is placed in a clinical context. On the basis of your history, your goals and any existing findings, we discuss which form of low-carb suits you (eating rhythm, protein needs, tolerance) and what to pay particular attention to in the case of pre-existing conditions or medications. You leave with clear, workable guardrails and a simple plan — so that the change works not only here, but lasts.

Bioimpedance Analysis

Bioimpedance analysis evaluates your body composition. What is your water, muscle and body fat percentage? Particularly for fasters and those eating "Schlanke Tanne," a measurement at the beginning and end of the stay is valuable — it lets us see clearly how your weight loss is composed.

Detox Bath

Salt baths have an osmotic effect and support the skin's detoxification. They leave a cleansed, velvety feel — and also relieve rheumatic complaints, muscle soreness or a tendency to cramps.

Aromatic Body Wrap

Various essential oils and herbal extracts make wonderful bases for compresses — an old remedy revived.

Classic Full-Body Massage

Is Nutrition the right programme for me?

Nutrition is for people who want to change how they eat – without counting, dogma or deprivation. Common reasons: persistent cravings, weight that won't shift, swinging energy, insulin resistance, or simply the feeling that the old way of eating no longer fits. The medical consultation at the start clarifies which Low Carb variant suits you and what to watch for in case of pre-existing conditions or medication. Not suitable: active eating disorders, pregnancy and breastfeeding, or underweight.

What is Schlanke Tanne Low Carb?

Schlanke Tanne Low Carb isn't a diet, more a culinary reset. In place of bread and heavy sides: plenty of fresh vegetables, crisp salads, moderate fruit, and always a portion of high-quality protein. Organic-certified, regional, prepared by hand. Two variants are available – Schlanke Tanne Low Carb Interval (a drink in the morning, then two meals) and Schlanke Tanne Low Carb Three (breakfast, lunch, dinner). The aim: steadier energy, fewer cravings, better satiety – and a way of eating you can carry home.

How does a Nutrition week at Tannerhof unfold?

The programme follows three principles: Stabilise, Strengthen, Anchor. Day one brings the medical history-taking and the first bioimpedance reading as a baseline. The following days run with the Schlanke Tanne Low Carb line, plus the medical Low Carb consultation and personal training for muscle building. Detox bath, aroma wraps and massage support recovery and regulation. Before departure a second bioimpedance – so you can see what's changed – and the closing medical consultation with concrete recommendations for home.

What is bioimpedance analysis and why is it done twice?

Bioimpedance analysis measures your body composition – water, muscle and fat. A scale on its own shows only a weight; bioimpedance shows what that weight is made of. One reading at the start and one at the end makes it visible where any weight loss comes from: water, fat or, unfortunately, muscle. That matters, because a dietary change should reduce fat and preserve or build muscle – not the other way round.

Why is personal training muscle-building part of a nutrition programme?

Muscle is metabolically active – it raises basal metabolic rate, improves insulin sensitivity, and supports bone structure. Without building muscle, a dietary change easily tips into the yo-yo effect: less weight, but also less muscle, lower basal rate, fast return to old numbers. The personal training session works with your mobility, prior strains and goals and gives you a simple programme you can keep going at home – few exercises, clear structure, doable.

What does Nutrition cost – and what's included?

The 5-Day Basic starts at €750, the 8-Day Advanced at €960 – each a programme package, excluding accommodation. Included: the medical Low Carb consultation, a bioimpedance reading at the start and at the end, a personal training session for muscle building, detox bath, aromatic body wrap, a classic full-body massage, a relaxation, honey and foot reflexology massage – plus the Schlanke Tanne Low Carb meal plan. Accommodation and additional treatments are billed separately.

5 or 8 days – which is right?

Five days are enough to reset taste, noticeably reduce cravings and understand how Schlanke Tanne Low Carb works in daily life. Eight days give more time to embed new habits and show clearer change in the second bioimpedance reading. If you're after a long-term shift – not just a reset – the Advanced tends to deliver more. Arrival days are Sunday, Monday or Tuesday.

How do I carry Schlanke Tanne Low Carb forward at home?

In the closing consultation you get concrete guardrails: a simple daily framework (which meal when, what's on it), a shopping frame with example ingredients, and a way of handling exceptions (restaurants, family, travel). Many guests plan a booster stay three to six months later to repeat the bioimpedance and sharpen routines. There's no fixed end date for Schlanke Tanne Low Carb – it's designed as a way of eating to integrate, not a diet with a stop sign.

Does Schlanke Tanne Low Carb work vegetarian or vegan?

Vegetarian with fish works very well – we make sure the protein portion is covered by fish, eggs, pulses or dairy. A purely vegan Schlanke Tanne Low Carb isn't currently possible at Tannerhof. We work through dietary preferences in the medical consultation on day one and adjust the menu accordingly.
